The Garden Supper on Thursday 28th August at Caldesi in Campagna at 7pm

Step into our Garden Room where for one night we will appreciate all the season has to offer – hear horticulturalist Lindsay Engers discuss growing flavour-packed produce by selecting rare seeds, unusual old varieties and medieval kitchen garden techniques to produce the best organic vegetables, heritage fruits and herbs. Katie and Giancarlo Caldesi will create a delicious, four-course seasonal feast for this one night only from Lindsay’s market garden.

The Garden Supper will be a very special event that promises to delight your senses and give a fascinating insight into working with, not against, nature. Lindsay is Katie’s gardening teacher and a beloved supplier of fresh produce from his market garden to the restaurant. Our forthcoming celebration is for those who appreciate great seasonal food, warm hospitality, and the joy of gathering together.

Our garden-inspired décor, sparkling fairy lights and flowers will transform our room and hopefully we will be able to open the doors to our own garden outside. We will sit at communal tables although please do ask us for your own table of friends if you prefer. Be among the first to secure your reservation as spaces will be limited.

Stuffed courgettes with ricotta, Parmesan, lemon and mint, fresh tomato salsa 

 

Cannelloni d’estate

Baked cannelloni stuffed with veal and Swiss chard, bechamel and tomato sauces 

 

Pannacotta alla vaniglia con susine Regina Claudia e rabarbaro

Vanilla pannacotta with greengages, bullaces, damsons, rhubarb crisp 

 

£55 per person, excluding drinks and a discretionary service charge of 12.5% which will be added to your bill.
